Colin's Helping Hand Hi my name's Colin and last year I decided to dedicate some of my spare time to helping people in need with garden maintenance.

As a full time HGV driver my job pays well enough that I can give back to those less fortunate and in need. Having turned 40 this year I've become more aware that life is passing me by pretty quick. Since leaving the Army in 2017 I've bobbed around from going from job to job but without ever finding any sort of satisfaction or feeling of any gratitude. Anyone who watches transformation videos on Youtube will have probably come across Ben from Flawless Cleaning or Sean from Midlife Stockman. Two men that have gone above and beyond to help others and although they may just be two guys I watch through my TV screen, the message they send is clear 'helping others is the best feeling'. Now that being said I've never been one to turn away from someone but I've never gone out and approached people who I think I could help. Its a bit of a strange feeling but one I hope in time will give me the mental satisfaction and fulfilment I desire and at the same time help out people in need.

🌿 Do You Know Someone Who Needs a Helping Hand? 🌿

Life can sometimes make it difficult to keep on top of the garden. If you know someone whose outdoor space has become overgrown due to age, illness, disability, or difficult circumstances, I'd love to hear from you.

💚 Nominate them for a chance to receive a FREE garden tidy-up!

A little care can make a huge difference—not just to a garden, but to someone's wellbeing too.

To nominate someone:
🌱 Send me a message with:
• Their first name
• A brief explanation of why they deserve a helping hand
• A photo of the garden (if possible and with their permission)

🌞 Let's work together to brighten someone's day and help them enjoy their outdoor space again.

That's better.
