What happens after you sign the contract?
I'm glad you asked, let us tell you:
Here's a transparent look at Steps 2-10 of the Blue Haven process.
👉🏻 Step 2: Pre-construction phase.
We handle local government and regulation bodies.
Our team of architects, engineers, certifiers, and town planners handle everything. (Jimmy is the office legend and the glue that pulls the pre construction team together!)
👉🏻 Step 3: Finalise structural variations and design decisions.
We nail down structural and size options. Colour selections come later.
We coordinate land reports where needed.
👉🏻 Step 4: Building approvals.
We lodge your plans with Council or a Private Certifier. Also Waterboard and Mines Subsidence if applicable.
👉🏻 Step 5: Electrical and gas quotes.
While plans process, you finalise gas and electrical with external contractors. We coordinate confirmed positions for filtration and equipment. This step also sets up Bluetooth automation and pool light controls.
👉🏻 Step 6: Coping tile and paving selections.
You pick materials you love. Earmarking now ensures width variations can be adjusted on permit documents.
👉🏻 Step 7: Design Studio.
We book your walkthrough to familiarise you with products, finishes, textures, accessories, and filtration options. Bring photos of your house exterior and landscaping. We tailor final amendments and prepare for counter-signing.
👉🏻 Step 8: Provide building agreement to lender.
Or we help refinance your home loan and rework the pool into it. We work with an in-house broker for excellent results.
👉🏻 Step 9: Authority to commence construction.
Once approvals are obtained and selections finalised, we're ready. We provide Building Approval documentation if needed. If self-funded, payments must be met on due dates, we don't work past progress payments.
👉🏻 Step 10: Construction.
We complete plans and pass your file to your Construction Supervisor. They introduce themselves, and your Coordinator keeps you informed every step. Now it's time to see your dream pool come to life.
