Time to help the sister of the last 64 get the same Triple Diamond Certification with just the right amount of paint restoration. It can't be to perfect and needs to look natural meaning the trick is to get it as close to factory finish as possible, no more no less. We are proud to have these opportunities.

This isn't just any old car and when it's requested that I come out of the office to make it happen again, its an honor. This is the last step for this sister car to get its certification and its on our hands to make it happen.

Both of these Corvettes will need to be trailered every year to different states to get their yearly Triple Diamond Certification added to their paper work.

These cars are ours to maintain from here on out. Thats full trust in our abilities to help maintain Triple Diamond status for the paint work.

The owner of this 1964 Corvette was trying to get it Triple Diamond Certified and the only thing holding it back was the paint condition. So he had us put our meticulous hands to work on some paint correction. The paint is single stage and had to many scratches. The customer didn't want it to be perfectly scratch free nope he wanted it to look natural as if it just came off the line back in 1964. So that's exactly what we did. NitPickin gave it just the right touch and boom she got Triple Diamond Certified. This was a single day job with three of us working together and its something we accomplished together as a team!

𝗛𝗼𝘄 𝗺𝘂𝗰𝗵 𝗽𝗮𝗶𝗻𝘁 𝗰𝗼𝗿𝗿𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗱𝗼𝗲𝘀 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗰𝗮𝗿 𝗻𝗲𝗲𝗱 to achieve a nice and smooth glossy finish? Use the photo to help you determine your answer.

𝗣𝗵𝗼𝘁𝗼 1) 𝗤𝘂𝗶𝗰𝗸 𝗣𝗼𝗹𝗶𝘀𝗵 is suitable to obtain a nice glossy finish. A quick polish removes very light swirls/scratches that can come with a brand new vehicle. It also removes light oxidation.

𝗣𝗵𝗼𝘁𝗼 2) 𝗢𝗻𝗲 𝗦𝘁𝗮𝗴𝗲 paint correction is the best option if your vehicle has a moderate amount of light to medium swirls/scratches. Scratches can barely be felt, if at all, when running with your fingernail over them. Also removes light and medium oxidation.

𝗣𝗵𝗼𝘁𝗼 3) 𝗧𝘄𝗼 𝗦𝘁𝗮𝗴𝗲 paint correction is required if your vehicles paint has a lot of heavy swirls and scratches. Scratches that can be felt when going over it with a fingernail. Some scratches may be to deep to fully remove in some cases. @ stage paint correction can drastically enhance the appearance of a vehicle when done correctly by a trained technician!

I was at a customer's house working on their vehicle when a neighbor approached me. I stopped what I was doing, turned off my generator, and put 100% of my attention towards this gentleman.

We got to talkin and he began tellin me how his cousin used to have a detailing business before he got a real job and as usual, the gentlemen asked me how much we charge.

Well I paused and being a little stunned by what he just said about it not being a real job, I needed to be careful how I responded so I didn't come off as offensive lol and since he wasn't very particular about his question, I simply replied with, we charge anywhere from $150 to $3200. He paused for a few seconds, he broke eye contact for a few seconds and with a dumbfounded look on his face he looked back up at me and said, no foreal how much do you charge? I said yeah for real that's our price range, it ranges between $150 to $3200. Then I said what can I do for you? He said, well nothing for that kind of money shoot my cousin use to charge $100 for everything when he was a detailer. So I quickly responded with, yeah but your cousin didn't have a real job LMAO
