Toilet Bowl Cleaner is Only Safe for Toilets!

The latest Tik Tok videos claim that toilet bowl cleaner can be used on everything. This is very misleading!

Here at Exec Nest Referral Agency, we wanted to clear up a myth. We care about our clients, along with those cleaning your home yourselves.

Toilet bowl cleaner is very acidic – it contains hydrochloric acid and will eventually ruin surfaces like countertops, grout, showers and floors. Toilet bowl cleaner should only be used in one place – toilet bowls!

A very effective all-purpose cleaner would be a neutral cleaner, such as vinegar and water, any store-bought all purpose cleaner, or a plant-based all-purpose cleaner, such as Mrs. Meyers.

Why I Opened A Domestic Referral Agency

I have lived in the Morongo Basin for 45 years and am originally from Lakewood, California. I attended high school here, I met my husband at work at the Hi-Desert Star Newspaper and we started a family here. I eventually opened a residential cleaning service that moved into janitorial only, which is in its 25th year.
Over the years, though, I had heard so many horror stories about housecleaners not being experienced, stealing or just not cleaning. I did my fair share of cleaning up after dishonest or inexperienced housecleaners. Sometimes, people in need of housecleaning would call me during a time I simply couldn't take on more work and would always ask if I could recommend another housecleaner. I literally didn't know any housecleaners personally, so I couldn't possibly make a recommendation because I couldn't speak to their work. That frustrated some people. I recognized this is a need in our desert community and something I want to do to better this community.
Exec Nest Referral Agency was born, where we connect vetted, experienced, personally-interviewed Service Providers who must pass a criminal background screening to residential clients.
