Just cause its damaged or cracked, no need to replace. Here is a crack in granite in front of sink that was caused by a rusted rod and lack of maintenance. We removed the rod, pieced back together and filled remaining area with color matching UV resistant epoxy

Here is a granite repair where the steel rod had rusted. Fabricators have used steel rods for support in infront of sinks for years and this is what happens over time. When we do this, we remove the steel rod that is exposed and then piece back together the countertop and fill gaps with a color matching epoxy. We then hone to a polish to match existing counter
