Joel’s Pest Control is a local family-run business serving the Yuba-Sutter County area. We pride ourselves in providing excellent service to each of our customers. We are seeking to add a new member to our team. Someone who is friendly, trustworthy, motivated and understands the importance of delivering top-notch customer service.
At Joel’s Pest Control, our technicians are responsible for the following:
The inspection and controlling of pest activity at commercial and residential locations
The completion of pest control services using company forms
Completion of assigned services (ie; daily/monthly route)
Collection of payment at time of service and also collection from unpaid accounts
Communicating well with customers and management
Maintaining company issued equipment/vehicles and keeping clean and safe
Having reliable transportation to and from work
Requirements:
We require a good driving record and the ability to pass a drug screen. Candidates must meet physical job requirements and safely perform the following job duties with or without accommodations:
Safely use a ladder within the manufacturer’s weight capacity
Lift and carry up to 50 lbs
Safely access attic or crawl spaces
Willingness to work in all weather conditions
Practicing regulatory compliance through the safe handling, application, and disposal of chemicals and pesticides
Willing and able to stand, walk, sit, bend, crawl, lift and carry for extended periods of time (within crawl spaces, attics and basements)
Climb ladders and work at heights, including in attics
CA Applicators or Field Representative License
CA Driver’s License
Ability to work 8am-6pm, M-F

The position is full-time with starting pay based on experience and work history. Experience and licensing is preferred, but not required as we are willing to provide training to the right candidate. Hiring will be dependent upon the passing of a drug and alcohol screening along with a clean DMV driving record.
