About Burton's Saddle & Tack Cleaning
I started cleaning saddles as a hobby in my living room - you see, I am a bit of a tack hoarder! I would find really neat old saddles and tack and could just see the beauty underneath that dust, dirt and grime. If the saddle fits my horse, myself or my son, we keep them (currently have tooo many saddles for one horse!) and if they weren't a good fit, then I w
ould restore them to their former beauty and find them loving homes. Each saddle has a story to tell and I love seeing that transformation and bringing out their beauty. Why couldn't I offer my services to others? My mission is to restore, preserve and maintain leather for today and future generations. My services are for both old and new tack. Saddles and tack are an investment and by keeping them well-cared for they provide you with greater flexibility, higher resale value, better performance, increased safety and a professional look. Let us breathe life back into leather for you. A few disclaimers...
*Supplies* I only use high quality products designed for cleaning and conditioning saddles, tack and their parts. However, some cleaners, conditioners and oils can cause discoloration or darkening of the leather. I do not use any "home remedies" or DIY hacks or concoctions. **NOTE** If the manufacture of your saddle or tack has recommended a product preference for leather cleaning, please let me know. I will make ever attempt to use that product (which may result in a delay in turnaround time if I do not have that product on hand).
*Liability* I am not liable for any damage caused to equipment under any circumstances. Due to the nature of the materials, their past use and care, and unforeseen events, you acknowledge and agree that by using my services you agree to all liability releases. I will take safe care of all tack and equipment, and will notify you at the first opportunity if I find something unsafe with your saddle or tack. .
*Satisfaction* If at any point there are problems or concerns with my services, please let me know.
*Payment* Payment is expected upon services rendered.
