Update on my knee surgery and recovery:

Surgery was completed in May, and the old hardware was removed. At this time, the doctors replaced everything with a solid spacer/block that will remain in place for the next 8 weeks while I undergo IV antibiotic treatment.

The current hardware did not show obvious signs of infection during surgery, which is encouraging, but we are still waiting on final test results from samples that were taken. Once the 8 weeks of IV antibiotics are finished, I then have to wait an additional 2 weeks before they can retest everything and determine if the infection is fully gone. If all goes well, we can then begin discussing the possibility of another surgery to put new knee hardware back in.

For now, I am under strict limitations:
• No weight on my left leg/foot
• Limited ability to drive
• Unable to work at this time

As many of you know, this has created a lot of uncertainty regarding my business, bills, and everyday life while I continue this recovery process. I’m doing everything I can to stay positive and push forward, but this is going to be a long road.

I truly appreciate everyone who has checked in, shared posts, prayed, donated, or offered support in any way. It means more than you know during a time like this.
