Great chance to get out and look around for mulch washout to get an idea of whether your gutters are flowing properly.
Take a walk around your house and look for trenches or maybe even a new bald spot where your fresh mulch is longer there. It could be an indication of clogged gutters.

Yesterday, we replaced a few downspouts at a home in Lancaster. One of which was clogged with debris at least a foot up from the bottom of the downspout.
Downspouts are the only way we want the water find the ground from the roof. When a downspout is clogged, water will find another way to the ground.
