I got it off! Brass punch, wood vice, and my favorite little hammer. Cleaned her up a little and she has pitting randomly spread out over the barrel, sights, and some furniture we will just oil blue like the screws.

Smells like rust and oil. Once we get this all taken apart (screws are all seized, have sitting in KROIL) and cleaned of all rust and all pitting taken care of we will Rust blue this Mini-14 and back to her original beauty, but stronger and more reliable than factory blueing.

The barrel was not damaged in the application of heat. Most of yall will shoot so fast the barrel would accumulate more heat than this.

While waiting for people to get free cleaning I am disassembling this Rugar Mini-14 to see what rust damage there is.

So all law enforcement, firefighters, EMS, military and the follow-up secondary responders that dont get the credit due to them like the Public Works Personnel and construction workers come by and get a free cleaning!
