One thing that’s becoming more common in the detailing industry:

People are finally understanding the difference between a quick “shine” and true paint correction.

A lot of vehicles can look glossy in photos for a few hours.

But proper correction is about:
✔ Removing swirls properly
✔ Refining the finish
✔ Inspecting paint under proper lighting
✔ Creating long-term clarity before protection is applied

That’s why I take my time with every vehicle that comes through the shop.

No rushed production-line work.
No shortcuts.
Just careful work focused on making the vehicle look its absolute best.

That attention to detail matters — especially on darker colors and high-end vehicles where every imperfection shows.

The Escalade V is already one of the most menacing trucks on the road. But this one? We took it up a notch. 🖤

This beast came in for a full transformation — badges pulled, and the entire truck wrapped in Satin PPF over at Shell Shocked Wraps. The satin finish completely changes the presence of the truck and pairs perfectly with the growl of that factory exhaust. Sinister doesn't even begin to cover it.

From there we got to work:

⚙️ Ceramic coated wheels & calipers with Gtechniq C5
🔭 Windshield treated with Glassparency

People often ask what my favorite part about detailing is.

Is it the finished product? Is it the look on the owners face or their reaction when you went above and beyond their expectations?

All of those are fantastic and make it all worth it.

But my favorite part is putting on my headphones (noise cancelling since you got to protect that hearing), turning on just my correction lights in the dark garage and focusing in on the job at hand. Its a time and place for me to shut the rest of the world. Dark, "quiet" and alone. It clears my mind and relaxes me.

Black paint is either absolutely stunning...or well, it isn't! It's one of those colors that when its right its SOOO goo...

Black paint is either absolutely stunning...or well, it isn't!

It's one of those colors that when its right its SOOO good! But when its been neglected and mistreated its SOOO bad! Sometimes so bad that the black is almost looking dark gray!

Would you ever own a black car? Yes or no?
