As we head into the busy spring season, our schedule for grease trap and grease removal services is filling up quickly. We currently have a limited number of openings remaining in March and April, and once those spots are filled, our next availability will be pushed out to July 2026 .

Our Chappy truck is almost ready! She'll be coming in from Wisconsin in the next 10 days. If you're on our waitlist, we'll be calling you soon to schedule, and if you'd like to get on our list, give us a shout!

If you have a 1500 gallon tank on Chappy, this truck can handle it in one trip due to its lighter weight for the ferry, providing a more thorough tank clean and less cost.

Chappy residents!!! You've been asking for years, and it's time for us to listen. We're working with our truck builder to put together a SEPTIC truck specifically to handle Chappaquiddick.

Our portable toilet trucks have been on Chappy since 2017, but they're both limited to 400 gallons (one due to capacity, one due to ramp clearance on the ferry) and can't effectively clean septic tanks. This new truck has a 1500 gallon tank and comes in significantly below the ferry's 15 ton weight limit for single-axle trucks, even loaded to capacity.

If you have a 1500 gallon tank (installed after 1995) that larger trucks haven't been able to empty (therefore clean) completely, or have had to pay for multiple trips to get your tank cleaned properly, we have your solution.

A good read about the main reason we started hauling wastewater off island to facilities better equipped to handle the volume of septage we're producing as our island grows. We now haul more than 90% of the septic waste we pump to mainland facilities for treatment!

Proper maintenance and cleaning of your septic tank not only helps with the longevity of your system, but also protects the groundwater from things a healthy septic system is designed to keep contained. The Marine Biological Laboratory and Great Pond Foundation are collecting water samples along Edgartown Great Pond in hopes of unlocking the source of nitrogen that has been polluting the pond.

Huge HUGE thank you to Richard T. Olsen & Son for loaning us a tractor on short notice after TR-1 went down for repairs this morning! Normally their slogan is "We Make the Earth Move", but today it's "We Make the P**p Move" 💩
