2019 Buick Encore in the shop for a timing chain rattle.

Once we got into it, we found the timing chain guides had basically crumbled apart. Somehow this thing was still running 😅

Definitely a good example of why you don’t want to ignore a new rattle or noise coming from your engine. Catching it before the chain lets go can be the difference between a repair and an engine.

Heater core season is right around the corner.

Here’s a Nissan Xterra we recently had apart for a heater core replacement. Unfortunately, on a lot of vehicles this isn’t exactly a quick job — the dash has to come out just to get to it.

Little progress on the shop’s extra-time project.

The motor mounts are finished up on the 1979 MGB, and we’re continuing to work our way through the new wiring harness install.

Definitely not a quick project, but it’s coming together one piece at a time.

A couple older ones in the shop today.

The ’79 MGB is getting a full new wiring harness along with a few other repairs, and the ’85 Merkur came in for a misfire diagnosis.

Definitely not the usual lineup, but we’re always down to dig into something different.

Currently installing a set of Megan Racing coilovers on this '91 Dodge Stealth.

The original suspension was worn out and ready for retirement, so it's getting a full coilover upgrade to tighten up the handling and improve the ride.

Not every day you see one of these come through the shop. It's always good to keep the older stuff driving the way it's supposed to.
