Bowman Gray Stadium Week 1:

Friday practice went really well, had tons of speed and drive off the corner so we decided to load up and race what we had.

Saturday Camryn Whitaker drew us the 3 chip having us start 3rd out of 25 cars! We fired off really well making it into 2nd off of turn 2. Austin Taylor kept me focused and calm, we were about to hold onto 2nd for 6 laps until P3 and I hit wheels and it spun me around. But that’s just hard racing! I could tell something was off in the car so we came in and found we had a broken LR shock but came back out to putt around and salvage what we could. Ended the night P13 out of 25, not what we wanted at all but we’ll take it given the circumstances. After watching the replay back I seen I was making rookie mistakes and missing my corner, but I’ll make an adjustment and we’ll be back!
