Your drain field has an important job and it’s important to make sure it has the space it needs to do it!

As you are tackling fall yard cleanup, remember:
- Don’t park vehicles or heavy equipment on it
- Don’t build sheds, patios or other structures over it
- Avoid planting trees or large shrubs too close
- Keep excess water and drainage directed away from the area
