Graco has issued a voluntary recall for select SnugRide Turn & Slide models made Jan–Mar 2026 due to a structural issue found in post‑production testing.

This does NOT affect the EasyTurn, Turn2Me, and all other SnugRide models.

Model numbers affected:
2231809 - Noir / Black
2231887 - Sandstone / Tan
2231806 - Mulberry / Girl-Plum
2231885 - Sandstone / Tan
2231881 - Noir / Black
2231884 - Noir / Black
2231810 - Base
2243083 - Modes next travel system with turn and slide

If your model number is listed, stop using the seat with the base immediately. The carrier can still be used without the base while you wait for your free replacement.

Replacement options include:
Snugride Snugfit DLX and base Maison
Snugride SnugFit Gotham and base
EasyTurn Solae
Turn2Me Brighton

*If you are registering a base-only product (model 2231810), you will receive SnugRide SnugFit base (2120612) only. Base-only registrations are not eligible for full car seat replacement options.

Winter is a tough time for everyone and coats certainly help make cold days a little warmer. But they can get in the way of your child's car seat doing its job if they're too puffy or thick. See comments for our article!

Just an fyi! 🫶🏼

🚫 If your child’s car seat grows mold, it’s not safe to use.
Mold can linger deep in the fabric, padding, and on the shell. It can pose serious health risks. Nothing strong enough to kill mold can safely be used to clean it from a car seat.

👉 The safest choice is replacement, not cleaning.
