Application Process

Applications are automatically scheduled for every 14 days from May to September.

Advanced notice can be given upon request.

We will knock on your door as a courtesy to notify you of the application and make sure people and pets are removed from the area. We will spray the lawn and inspect your property for potential trouble spots where standing water will increase mosquito breeding. The application will usually be completed in less than 30 minutes. There is no re-entry wait period. It is safe for people and pets to return to the lawn at any time. We will leave a lawn sign giving notice that an application was made.

No contracts are required.

We treat lawns and outdoor spaces, including lawn, bushes, mulch beds, decks and patios. Our Program kills mosquitoes, ticks, fleas, larva and eggs at the time of application while creating a re-entry barrier for continued bug control. The program is 100% natural, 100% organic, non-toxic to people, pets, birds, honey bees, butterflies, ladybugs and aquatic life. Applications are non-irritating, non-allergenic, non-corrosive, non-staining and does not harm the lawn or plants. We reapply the treatments every two weeks from May to September, ten treatments in all. Our program protects lawns, bushes, plants, vegetable garden and fruit trees by reducing many grass and plant eating bugs. Our program keeps many bugs out of your home by creating a perimeter barrier around your home. A to 90% to 95% reduction in mosquitoes, ticks and fleas is possible. We guarantee our product. We will re-spray your property for free if necessary. Our products are EPA exempt from federal registration (25b product), classified as "Generally Recognized as Safe" (GRAS) by FDA and approved for use on and around food. Our program also reduces stink bugs, cockroaches, flies, gnats and many more bugs.

What Makes Us Unique

Pyrethrin and Pyrethroids

Pyrethrin is an organic compound derived from the chrysanthemum flower. Used for centuries as an insecticide, Pyrethrin is effective at naturally killing bugs such as Mosquitoes and Ticks. However, because Pyrethrin breaks down quickly in the environment, it does not provide continuous bug control.

To combat this shortcoming, chemists developed a group of synthetic chemical pesticides designed to mimic the killing method of natural Pyrethrin, but that lasts considerably longer. This group of pesticides is called Pyrethroids. Pyrethroids are synthetic pesticides.

Pesticide 101

There are two forms of chemical pesticide exposure, acute and chronic. Acute exposure occurs when a person is exposed to a large dose of pesticides. Chronic pesticide exposure occurs when a person is exposed to small amounts of pesticide over an extended period of time.

Both forms of exposure put an individual at risk. While it is highly unlikely you as the homeowner would be subject to an acute exposure of Pyrethroid pesticides, we believe the potential for chronic exposure to Pyrethroid pesticides is real.

Why we don't use Pyrethroids

In general, Pyrethroids are highly toxic to birds*, honey bees, butterflies, ladybugs, aquatic life, amphibians, beneficial insects (good bugs that eat bad bugs), and even mico-organisms in the soil. Most important, in large doses are acutely toxic to humans and in small doses represent the potential for chronic toxicity.

* While dried residues are safe for birds, they can be poisoned if they eat a treated insect.

In short, we did not want to unnecessarily expose ourselves, our clients and beneficial wildlife to chemical pesticides.
