> YOUR CERAMIC COATING STOPPED BEADING. DID IT FAIL?

Not necessarily.

This is one of the biggest misunderstandings I see with ceramic coatings.

Over time, road film, minerals, environmental fallout, soaps and other contamination can build up on top of the coating.

That contamination can mask the hydrophobic properties underneath it.

So the coating may still be there doing exactly what it's supposed to do. It may simply need to be properly cleaned and maintained.

I've seen coatings that customers thought were “gone” come back to life after proper decontamination and maintenance.

That's why I've never been a fan of installing a coating, handing someone the keys and basically saying, “See you in five years.”

Installing it correctly matters.

The product matters.

But what happens after the installation matters too.

This is what serious undercarriage protection looks like when it’s done correctly.

This brand-new 2026 Ford F-150 Tremor came to Autoworx for chassis and undercarriage corrosion protection before coastal salt, moisture and road contamination had a chance to take hold.

The process begins with careful preparation. The undercarriage is thoroughly cleaned and inspected, sensitive areas are addressed, and the surfaces are properly prepared before the protective coating is applied.

We then treat the exposed chassis, suspension components, fasteners, wiring harnesses, electronic controls and other corrosion-prone areas throughout the undercarriage.

Rust doesn’t fix itself. And covering it up isn’t the answer.

This Toyota Sequoia came to us with corrosion already developing across areas of the chassis.

Instead of simply coating over the problem, we went through a proper corrosion remediation process first, addressing the existing rust and preparing the surfaces before protection was applied.
