Thank you to everyone who lined the streets to wave, cheer, and celebrate another year of community. We always enjoy seeing familiar faces, meeting new ones, and being part of a tradition that brings people together.

It was great to see so many residents take advantage of Albany's City-Wide Clean Up. Events like these are a great reminder of what can happen when a community works together to care for the place they call home.

👏🏻 Thank you, Starbuck!

City-wide cleanups are one of the many ways communities come together to take pride in the place they call home, and Starbuck did just that.

A big THANK YOU to the City of Starbuck staff for directing another successful cleanup event! Also, many thanks to all the residents who came out to clear away unwanted items and help keep their neighborhoods looking their best.

West Central Sanitation was happy to take part in the ECFE Vehicle Fair in St. Peter!

🙌🏼 More than 250 children, along with their parents and caregivers, came out to explore the vehicles that help keep our communities running. From fire trucks and ambulances to race cars, loaders, and of course, a West Central Sanitation garbage truck, there was something for everyone to climb in, learn about, and enjoy.

We're grateful for opportunities like these to connect with our communities and give families a closer look at the trucks that help keep life rolling (and provide a little entertainment along the way!).

Our office will be open on Friday, July 3, 2026. The Friday routes are still running as scheduled.
Services are not affected by the 4th of July holiday being on Saturday this year.

What a fun way to celebrate Science Day! ♻️🌎

Our driver, Mason, had the opportunity to visit the Kindergarten and First Grade students at Eden Valley-Watkins Elementary for a Touch-A-Truck event, and it was a blast!

Students got to "recycle" their own items, watch how the truck collects and dumps materials, ask plenty of great questions, and of course... give the horn a honk! 📣

A big thank you to the staff and students for inviting us to be part of your activities. We loved helping bring their lessons to life and sharing a little behind-the-scenes look at what happens after recyclables leave the curb.

Thanks for having us, EVW—we had a great time!
