This was my Dad's baby. He always took excellent care of it so I guess it was fitting that today, Memorial Day, I detailed and coated it with EcoSeal - a sealer made with nanotechnology. I gave him a quart last year for this beauty, but he wanted to do it with me (even though it's super easy to apply). So I finally detailed it today scrubbing all the old car wax build up off with a tooth brush, something I did to his other black lacquered classic car when I was a teen.
With that EcoSeal coating, it's so smooth that putting the car cover on was like trying to but a plastic diaper on a greased baby hippo! However, the birds and Mayflies couldn't leave a mark and fingerprints are no longer a problem. Even the brief rain today didn't leave any water spots. The tires look like they've been Armoralled but have no whitish residue or waxy build up.
Next I will seal the interior. It works better than ArmorAll keeping leather supple, stain-free and last forever.
One product, dozens of applications.
