Hi everyone! It’s that time of year again.
You may notice a honeybee swarm.

Please DO NOT kill them.

They typically only stay for a few hours or at most a couple days.
What a swarm means: they are reproducing, expanding their colony, and require more space.
Honeybees are extremely important!

If you don’t want them there, then a local beekeeper is a wonderful option.

We need to protect honeybees 🐝

What an awesome evening watching the Ladies play! The WCGSL Championship Tournament came down to #1 seed Dave B's vs #2 seed B&M. What an amazing game they put on!! Seeing sensational plays from Dave B's centerfielder Kenley Barnhart and shortstop Izzy Fedele. The B's bats were on fire with the great hitting from everyone, seeing bases loaded singles to base emptying triple into left field by Raygan Hobbs, what a line drive by the freshmen to be!! Izzy Fedele ripped a solo bomb to the right center fence for a triple. Fantastic bunt by Bella Ferretti advancing runners and so much more. Base running was aggressive with steals and sliding. Championship Game MVP Bralyn Ruppenthal pitched a fantastic game in the circle giving up only 5 hits in 6 innings. Abby Hershman closed out the 7th inning flawlessly going 3 up 3 down to end the game!!! It was fun to watch! Then the bee mascot made the evening better. The WCGSL Dave B's U-18 girls won the division going 11-1 and went undefeated in the season ending tournament winning it 9-5 in 7 innings. The girls of Dave B's won it all finishing their season an amazing 13-1 to be the 2025 WCGSL U-18 CHAMPIONS!! These girl worked so hard, never gave up on each other, never quit, showed unmatched sportsmanship, talent, and their love for the game shined!! It was a well deserved win and season for them!!! I want to say thank you to the parents of each player. The girls of summer ball, what a blessing it is to see you have fun and play. Thank you to the coaches, Head Coach Bart Ruppenthal, assistant coaches Michael Slays, Mike Hobbs and Jackie Carty-Thomas who were such an amazing part of the team.

I want to say thank you to the other half of the Championship, B &M your ladies played well. It was a tough game for several innings, and then trying to rally back. We appreciate your team as well.

Wow, what a Game tonight! Thank you to Coaches of Dave B's for sealing number 1 seed. Thank you to all the girls that play with heart and not a lick to quit in them! Thank you parents, love ones that support them ! Congratulations to Amanda Shaw for her solo homerun, Kenley Barnhart for her a walk- off hit to win the game 5 to 4. Pitchers Bralyn Ruppenthal and Abby Hershman were flawless and pitched a great game. Freshman catcher Raygan Hobbs did a great job behind the plate for us. Thank you, girls! I want to say thank you to B&M for playing a great game as well. All the girls of summer are good!

Good Morning!

Please use caution when doing outdoor activities like mowing, pulling weeds, playing in yard, etc. Hornets and yellow jackets can be very aggressive towards you for coming up on their nest. Please be vigilant for a flight pattern. A flight pattern- they are flying in and out steadily.
In addition, inside your home if you ever see a spot on your wall or ceiling that looks wet or soft, then do not touch it because the nest could be on the other side of that. Yellow jackets tend to be the culprit for this. They find a void in the structure and start building their nest. Yellow jackets can chew through drywall and plaster to expand their nest.
