Things I think about during make-ready deep cleans… 🤔

What happened here?
How long has it been here?
And most importantly…

Did Taco Bell cause this crime scene? 🌮🚽💀

We may never know. 😂

It's never not awkward 😅.

📸 Why we take before & after photos...

It's simple, they protect everyone.

They document the condition when we arrive, show the work we completed, and provide proof of the transformation. It's all about transparency, accountability, and standing behind our work.
..Plus, who doesn't love a satisfying before & after? 😉✨

Today, someone stole a large amount of brand new cleaning equipment and supplies from one of my employees while she was at a job site.

I started this business back in December. Since then, I’ve already grown it to three employees plus myself. I’m proud of that growth because every bit of it came from hard work, long days, sacrifice, risk, and pouring everything I have into building something honest.

What people don’t see is that every time I hire someone, I personally front around $500 in startup costs for their equipment and supplies so they can work. Just last week, I hired two new employees. So do the math.

Now today, because someone decided to steal from a small business, I had to immediately turn around and replace an entire startup package all over again.

And the ripple doesn’t stop there.

Two of my kids have birthdays this month. Bills still exist. Payroll still exists. Jobs still have to get done. Deadlines to meet. Stress still lands somewhere.

And buried in all the stolen equipment were my employee’s little sister’s graduation ceremony tickets.

That part broke my heart. And hers 😔

Because this is what people don’t understand about stealing from small businesses: you are never just stealing “stuff.” You are stealing time, opportunities, peace of mind, milestones, memories, and security from real people trying to survive and build a better life.

I know times are hard right now for a lot of people. But small businesses are not giant corporations with unlimited money sitting around to absorb these hits. Most of us are just regular people trying our absolute best to create jobs, support families, and build something meaningful from the ground up.

So yes, one theft creates a ripple effect far bigger than most people realize.

And if you're reading this and you're the one that took it, I hope that you have the day you deserve 🫰🏽
