This is why you don’t want to let contamination sit on your paint.
Tree sap, bug splatter, bird droppings, and other contaminants can do more than just make your vehicle look dirty. The longer they sit, the more opportunity they have to stain or etch into the clear coat, sometimes leaving behind damage that won’t come off with a normal wash.
Keeping your vehicle washed regularly is one of the easiest ways to help preserve the paint and keep it looking good long term.
Wax, paint sealants, and ceramic coatings add another layer of protection between your paint and the elements, but they don’t make your vehicle maintenance-free. Contamination should still be removed as soon as possible.
A little maintenance now can save you from needing paint correction or a repaint later. 👍
Keep it clean. Keep it protected. Keep it looking new.
