An awesome organization should have an awesome laundry service, and now they do!
If you aren't familiar with what the Ronald McDonald House Charity does, they alleviate the worry and expense of finding close, comfortable, and affordable lodging for families to use while their children receive medical care from illness or injury. In 2025, they served 1,453 families.
In the late 80s, the RMDH in Washington DC provided lodging for my mom and oldest brother while he went through several bouts of surgeries, and my mom always made a point to talk to people about how helpful they were and how much she loved what they did. I've always had a high opinion of the charity, and when we were approached to replace a laundry service that wasn't meeting their needs, we jumped at the opportunity to help. Though we've given up our profit margin to give them our service at cost, it is still another expense for them that needs to be offset. If you are interested in donating, please visit:
