This week through Labor Day woohoo! 😂😂 But hey, we're gonna be getting a nicer road. 🙏☺️

🚦 BIG MOUNTAIN ROAD CONSTRUCTION — PLAN AHEAD! 🚦

Heads up! This Monday, Aug. 7, will begin repaving a stretch of Big Mountain Road between Whitefish Lookout Road and Tamarack Lane.

Traffic in both directions will be reduced to one lane, and this will cause delays of up to 10 minutes for motorists going up and down the mountain, including the S.N.O.W. Bus.

This work is expected to continue through Labor Day, Sept. 4.

If you have a scheduled activity at the resort, such as a Mountain Biking Lesson or a Zip Line Tour, plan ahead and leave a bit early to ensure you get here on time!

Be kind to every kind. This was such a senseless act of violence against another human being.
Homelessness can happen to ANYONE. Me, you, your family. So be kind and treat everyone as you would want to be treated.

Four days after a homeless man was allegedly murdered in Kalispell, advocates for the homeless and community members appealed to the Flathead County commissioners on Thursday seeking condemnation of reported acts of violence against homeless people.

The Blackfeet Tribe released a herd of buffalo in the Chief Mountain Wilderness. How wonderful! Bring the bison back!

The Blackfeet Tribe on Monday released a herd of 24 bison in the Chief Mountain Wilderness. The animals could end up in Glacier National Park, the first herd in the park in almost 150 years.
