Sorry for the last-minute notice, but we’ll be making some improvements at **Turnpike Laundry Room** over the next couple of days! 🙌

Because of that, we’ll be **CLOSED Friday, August 21 and Saturday, August 22.**

Yesterday's Suds Survey had us laughing because some of you admitted your clean clothes end up living in the laundry basket for a while. 😄

Here's today's tip:

If you're not going to fold your laundry right away, **take 30 seconds to shake out each item before tossing it into the basket.**

It helps reduce wrinkles, keeps clothes from getting tangled together, and makes folding a whole lot easier later.

No judgment here—we know life gets busy, and sometimes the laundry basket becomes a temporary dresser! 😉

🧺 **Laundry Tip Tuesday**

Ever forget a load of laundry in the washer?

It happens to the best of us—especially during busy weeks!

If your clothes come out smelling musty, don't just throw them in the dryer. That musty smell is usually caused by mildew and bacteria starting to grow on damp fabric. If left too long, mildew can even leave stains that become much harder to remove.

The good news? We've had success helping customers remove many of those stains over the years—but the sooner you catch them, the better.

✔️ Rewash the load as soon as you can.
✔️ Add a cup of white vinegar during the rinse cycle to help neutralize odors.
✔️ Dry everything completely before folding or putting it away.

A few extra minutes now can save your favorite clothes later!

Due to an unexpected power issue, Turnpike Laundry Room will be closed for the remainder of today while repairs are being completed.

We are currently waiting for our service provider to restore power and hope to resume normal business hours tomorrow.
