Here at Best Septic Service, we’re looking for enthusiastic, hard-working, accountable individuals to add to our team. We may not be always actively hiring for these positions, but are always interested in having the right people join our team. We are in search of construction and repair technician's, entry level septic inspectors, and sewer and drain technician's. Candidates must have a valid, clean drivers license and the ability to hold a DOT medical card. We are looking for employees with a strong work ethic and the drive to want to learn the industry. You will be operating a pump truck, or work truck to service residential and commercial septic tanks, holding tanks, pump stations, and grease traps. You will also be trained to operate a high-pressure sewer jetter and cable machines. We are a 24/7 service company. You will have regular hours but you will also be part of a rotating on-call schedule, approximately 1 week per month.
Job Duties Include:
1. Must have basic knowledge to be trained on how septic systems, grease traps and pump stations work.
2. Must be able to be trained on how to operate vacuum truck pump systems and know all related safety procedures.
3. Must be able to lift at least 100 pounds and be physically able to dig. Duties will include: digging up the manhole cover septic covers, dragging hoses, bending over holding the hose to pump the tanks, pumping tanks and traps, unclogging sewer lines.
4. Must have good handwriting, and be able to fill out reports, waste manifests, work orders and time sheets.
5. Must have good interpersonal skills and a professional manner as daily interaction with customers is required.
6. Must be willing to be trained on rules and regulations regarding waste disposal.
7. Must be efficient and have problem solving skills on a job site.
