Car Wash General Manager is a hands on position which performs the following:
Management and Supervision of Staff
Labor Management
Manage operations of the car wash including tunnel and equipment maintenance.
Responsible for executing the opening and closing of the facility including cash control as part of the POS system and pay stations.
Mechanical Experience is required, bonus if it is specifically related to the car wash business
Processing of new hire and separation paperwork
Willingness to learn and step into any job function to ensure the business is running as smoothly as possible.
Provide exceptional customer service by addressing any problems or complaints that may arise to the best of your ability.
Ability to work in extreme weather including hot and cold temperatures.
With training, learn the point of sale (POS) system and other mechanical skills vital to the everyday operation of Marco's.
Ability to lift, push, pull and bend up to 50 pounds with reasonable accommodation.
Responsible for the physical appearance of the site.
Responsible for maintaining an A+ attitude, clean attire and appearance.
Chemical and Parts Inventory management.
Perform other duties as business needs require
Job requirements
Effective/clear communication skills.
At least 1 year of management experience in a high volume, customer focused business.
Automotive service or previous car wash experience is a plus but not required.
Ability to lift /move up to 50 lbs
Must be able to stand/walk for duration of shift
Shifts are generally 9 ½ hours but may change depending on wash needs and weather.
Ability to work 40-50 hours/week, including weekends and a varying schedule to meet business needs.
Work on the store’s busiest days, weekends, and holidays as needed.
Valid Driver License.
Must be able to read and write English
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Email)
Basic Computer Skills
High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
