FALL DEEP CLEAN CHECKLIST - Utah Winter Prep Edition

WHOLE-HOME UTAH MUST-DOS
• [ ] Replace furnace filter + wipe furnace closet / air intake vents •
[ ] Vacuum all heat vents, cold air returns, and baseboard heaters •
[ ] Wash windows inside + clean window tracks (Utah dust season is real) •
[ ] Deep vacuum carpets + spot treat - great before you close up for winter •
[ ] Wash all light fixtures, ceiling fans (reverse for winter), and switch plates • [ ] Dust blinds, shutters, and window sills •
[ ] Wipe baseboards, door frames, interior doors •
[ ] Clean out gutters / check exterior entry mats • [ ] Hard water treatment on faucets & showerheads
KITCHEN - The Big One
• [ ] Pull-and-clean behind/under oven and fridge • [ ] Deep clean oven, stovetop, hood vent/filter • [ ] Clean inside/outside of all appliances: microwave, dishwasher filter, toaster •
[ ] Degrease cabinets, clean handles, line shelf paper if needed •
[ ] Scrub backsplash + hard water / grease •
[ ] Disinfect counters, clean & organize pantry, check exp. dates •
[ ] Scrub sink, polish faucet, clean garbage disposal • [ ] Mop floor including under sink and corners
LIVING ROOM / FAMILY ROOM / OFFICE
• [ ] Vacuum upholstery under cushions + under furniture • [ ] Dust and polish all surfaces, decor, electronics • [ ] Wash throw blankets, pillow covers • [ ] Clean mirrors, windows, sliders and tracks •
[ ] Vacuum edges, corners, and along baseboards
BEDROOMS
• [ ] Flip / rotate mattress, vacuum mattress + bed frame • [ ] Wash all bedding including mattress protector and duvets •
[ ] Dust headboard, nightstands, lamps, closet tops •
[ ] Organize closets, donate summer items • [ ] Wipe baseboards, vents, light switches
BATHROOMS
• [ ] Deep scrub shower/tub, grout, hard water & soap scum • [ ] Clean and descale showerheads, faucets • [ ] Clean & organize vanity, drawers, medicine cabinet • [ ] Wash/sanitize trash can, plunger holder •
[ ] Polish mirrors, lights, exhaust fan
LAUNDRY / MUDROOM / ENTRY - Utah Winter Defense
• [ ] Deep clean washer (drum, seal, filter) + dryer vent/lint trap • [ ] Wipe cabinets, counters, sort laundry supplies •
[ ] Clean mudroom cubbies, boot trays, coat closet • [ ] Wash entry rugs, clean front door + handle inside/out • [ ] Organize winter gear - ready the entry for snow boots/coats
