Pool Losing Water? The Leak May Be Underground. 🚨

At Seacoast Water Services, we use professional underground leak detection equipment to accurately locate hidden pool plumbing leaks without unnecessary digging or guesswork.

In this video, we are listening directly through the pool deck to pinpoint a leaking underground return line using acoustic leak detection technology. By following the sound of escaping air and water through the plumbing system, we can often identify the leak location before excavation even begins.

Many pool leaks are not visible in the pool itself and may be hidden underground beneath concrete, pavers, landscaping, or decking. Common signs include:

• Pool losing water daily
• Air in the pump system
• Low return pressure
• Wet spots around the pool
• Cracks or settling near plumbing lines
• Pool constantly needing water added

We specialize in:
• Pool leak detection
• Underground pool plumbing leaks
• Vinyl liner pool leaks
• Gunite and concrete pool leaks
• Skimmer leaks
• Return line leaks
• Pressure testing and advanced leak diagnostics

Serving homeowners throughout Massachusetts, Southern New Hampshire, and Southern Maine.

55° water in May is definitely not typical for New England… but leaks don’t wait for warm weather.

Full dry suit, freezing water, zero visibility sometimes we’ll do whatever it takes to find the leak and get answers for our customers.

We get in the pool on every inspection because that’s how leaks are found. You can’t properly inspect a pool from the deck.

You can’t do real leak detection from the pool deck.

Most leaks are found underwater, not by standing next to the equipment pad or pressure testing a single line. Getting in the pool gives a much clearer picture of what’s actually leaking, what needs repair, and the best way to fix it properly.

We get in the water on every inspection no matter the temperature. That’s how leaks get found.

This spa dropped over 18 inches overnight.

Not a liner tear.
Not a hydrostatic valve.

👉 Two massive pipe breaks underground.

Both located with the camera. No guessing, no digging blind.
