Why I Choose to Work as a Solo Cleaner

Choosing to work on my own isn’t about a lack of great cleaners out there — there are so many hardworking, talented people in this field. For me, it’s about keeping things simple and personal. Managing a team would take me away from what I enjoy most: giving my clients my full attention and care.

When you run your own business, every little detail matters. I take pride in making sure each home I clean meets my own high standards. I like knowing that when a job is done, it’s been done right — by me.

Sure, there are challenges. If I get sick, there’s no one to step in. But the benefits make it worth it. My clients always know who’s coming into their home, and that builds a real sense of trust and consistency.

While bigger cleaning companies often focus on volume, I focus on relationships. My goal is to provide reliable, personalized service and to treat every home with the same care and respect I’d want for my own.

At the end of the day, I truly love what I do — and I wouldn’t trade the connection, trust, and satisfaction that come with being a solo cleaner for anything.
