After 21 years with the same solid, bullet-proof excavator, it's time to trade in. Hard to believe it was August 2004 (I was entering my senior year of college, Tom Brady had only won 2 super bowls, GW. Bush was in his first term as president, and the Red Sox were still under the "curse of the bambino'!) when this late model Cat 311B showed up at our garage. Since then, it has been nothing short of an absolute work horse. A true testament to how proper care and maintenance really affects the longevity of equipment. Here is just another piece of equipment to Mercurio Construction's long list of the "20+ year club". This machine owes us nothing, but it was time to move on.
Enter it's younger, but equal counterpart, a late model Cat 311F showed up today. One can only hope this will provide another long tenure of quality service.

So blessed to have had prior generations provide such a reputable and honorable work ethic. To say that I had good teachers would be a severe understatement. These are the fruits of hard work, attention to detail and being a man of your word.

How do you know when you have a strong and positive reputation? Vendors that not only supply you with materials, but also a number of your competitors, colleagues and businesses bigger and smaller, choose you to execute scopes of work for them. This is not the first time. Over the years, vendors have hired us to work at their commercial properties, and even at their personal homes. We know there are a lot of options out there when it comes to contractors. We are proud of this and take it as a genuine compliment.

Title 5 inspections and small septic repairs can be done in the winter months. Obviously factors such as frost depth, snow cover, temperatures and site conditions can play a factor. You may be surprised what can be accomplished.
For homeowners, don’t wait until closing to schedule your Title 5 inspection!

This past Friday we performed two Title 5 inspections for two veterans. One in Gardner and one in West Boylston. Saturday, we were able to finalize some grading for another veteran in Holden. As always, we are appreciative for our men and women who serve our country. 🇺🇸
