From arriving in the US 33 years ago, not speaking English, and cleaning houses to standing on the Newsday TV set today—moments like this bring tears of absolute joy to my eyes. 🥹❤️

Today’s Breakfast & Brand event at Newsday Headquarters was incredible! So many people already knew TerraNut, which feels completely surreal. But the absolute highlight of my day was meeting the amazing Macy Egeland. Hearing a respected journalist tell me she genuinely loves our raw, clean-label snacks validated every single struggle, tear, and late night it took to build this business.

At 62 years old, freshly certified as a Suffolk County Women’s Business Enterprise (WBE), I have never been prouder to be the CEO of TerraNut. It is never too late to rebuild, tell your true story, and live your American Dream. 🥜✨

Wednesday he was born. Monday, I was back at work. 👶💼

When my son was born on a Wednesday in the fall of 1996, I didn't have the luxury of a long maternity leave. By the following Monday, I was back in the car—driving my cleaning helper to her first job and picking her up at the end of the day.

This was the era when "House Cleaning by Ula" was growing from a one-woman show into a real business. I had a degree in Economics from Poland and a newborn in my arms, but my mission was simple: provide for my family and provide the best service to my Long Island neighbors. 🇵🇱🇺🇸

Today, that little baby is grown, and "Ula's" has become WE CLEAN LI, Inc. When you hire us to clean your home in Syosset, Woodbury, or Port Jefferson, you aren't just hiring a cleaning crew.
