Things I’ve heard as a professional cleaner that drive me INSANEEEE 😂

“The house looks great, but why wasn’t THIS done?”

Because… that wasn’t included in the clean. 😭😂 READ. THE. CHECKLIST.

Your quote tells you exactly what is included. If there’s something you want done that isn’t listed, PLEASE tell your cleaner before accepting the quote so they can add it and price it accordingly. I’m a professional cleaner, not mind reader. 😂😩

“I can find someone cheaper.”

And you absolutely can! 😂 I will NEVER be mad at someone for choosing what works for their budget. ❤️

But please make sure you’re comparing the SERVICE, not just the price.

Are they completing the entire checklist?
Are they removing soap scum and hard-water buildup?
Are they getting around the toilet hinges, baseboards, cabinet fronts, corners, and all those little spots everyone conveniently forgets exist? 👀😂

Because $50 cheaper doesn’t mean much if you’re getting $50 less worth of cleaning.

“I found someone who can do it way faster.”

Okayyyyy 😂👏

But faster does NOT automatically mean better.

Are they preventing cross-contamination? Changing cloths? Using the right products on the right surfaces? Actually allowing disinfectants enough contact time to work?

I promise I’m not spending 45 minutes in your bathroom because I just really love being in there. 😭😂

I’M SCRUBBING.

“Why does a deep clean cost THAT much?”

Because the word DEEP is there for a reason. 😭😂

I’m not just wiping counters, vacuuming, mopping, and spraying something that smells good.

I’m spending hours removing buildup that has been sitting there for YEARS.

That takes time, effort, products, and a whole lot of elbow grease. 💪🏻🧽

“It should only take a couple hours.”

My back, knees, and shoulders would LOVE that. 😂😂

But the truth is, a small home can take longer than a large home depending on the condition of the house, how much buildup there is, how much needs to be done, and what you’re asking for.

Square footage isn’t the only thing that determines cleaning time.

Condition matters. Details matter. Expectations matter.

“I can’t afford your prices.”

And sometimes that is genuinely true. There is ZERO shame in that. ❤️

But there’s a difference between something not fitting your budget and a professional cleaner being “too expensive.”

We all choose where our extra money goes.

Hair. Nails. Eating out. Shopping. Vacations. Hobbies. Entertainment.

Professional cleaning isn’t a luxury it’s bringing hope back into homes and hearts .
❤️

There will ALWAYS be someone cheaper.

There will ALWAYS be someone faster.

And honestly? That’s okay.

I’m not trying to be the cheapest or the fastest cleaner.

I’m the cleaner you hire ONCE and then refuse to let anyone else clean your house again. 🫶🏻😂

Because when I walk out of your home, you notice the DETAILS, not just that it smells good … 🫳🏼🎤

That’s the Lavely’s Promise !
