We’ve been sitting on these beauties for a hot 🔥 minute so you can imagine how excited I am to share the latest beautiful work by Kathy Edwards! The original springs were removed from the seat of one and replaced with a solid seat. New foam was cut to fit and then wrapped in a beautiful distressed black leather from Keyston Bros. Antique finish tacks really finished it off! Sometimes we have projects that we hope the owners never show up to claim and these go on the list!! Another solid set of antique rockers saved!

After our heavy post yesterday we have to have something fun today! Who doesn’t love bright colored lawn cushions! They don’t make wicker like this much anymore so we were happy to be a part of keeping them out of the dumpster. We pulled the original coil springs out of the seat and replaced them with treated plywood wrapped in the customers outdoor material. Both cushions are cut to fit. The bench had more of an overhaul due to loose joints. We pulled it apart, cleaned off the old glue and cleaned out the joints then re-glued and it spent the night in clamps. New foam made it set much better. Thank you to the Runnels family for letting us help with your project!
