Let’s talk about the “30 Minute Reset.”

We’re moving from spring into summer. The sun stays up later, the evenings feel better, and honestly… nobody wants to spend every Saturday cleaning the whole entire house when they could be sitting on the porch listening to the crickets and cicadas with a cold drink in hand.

So how do you get the most out of your clean?How do you get the most out of your downtime?

You stop waiting for “cleaning day.”

Do a 30–45 minute reset every evening.

Mine starts when my phone reminds me:“Hey girl… bedtime is in 45 minutes.”

That’s my cue to:✔️ Take my medicine✔️ Drink my last glass of water✔️ Rinse the last few dishes✔️ Threaten my husband that NOTHING else better hit that sink tonight 😂✔️ Wipe down the countertops✔️ Throw away random junk mail and trash✔️ Straighten blankets and couch pillows✔️ Pick up dog toys✔️ Put cleaner in the toilets to marinate overnight✔️ Maybe take the trash out if it’s trying to fight for its life

It’s not a deep clean.It’s not perfection.It’s simply resetting your home before bed.

💐 Mother’s Day isn’t just about giving birth.

It’s about the women who stayed. The women who sacrificed. The women who loved when they were exhausted, worried, overwhelmed, and running on empty.

Being a mother is the late nights, the silent prayers, the constant worrying, the cheering from the sidelines, and the way you still carry your babies in your heart no matter how old they get.

A mother is comfort.
A mother is strength.
A mother is the safe place people run to when life gets hard.

Some mothers gave birth.
Some stepped in and raised children they didn’t have to.
Some are grandmothers, bonus moms, foster moms, aunties, caregivers, or the women who simply loved a child like their own.

Motherhood is not measured only physically. It’s measured by love, sacrifice, patience, grace, and the ability to keep showing up even on the hard days.

Thursday Edition 🧽✨

You ever notice how life gets just a little louder this time of year?

Kids are finishing school, vacations are being planned, ballgames are happening, pollen is trying to personally attack us all… and somehow the house still expects to be cleaned on top of it. 😂

“Why don’t you offer quick cleans anymore?”

Ohhh, the famous question 😅

Let me tell you what a “quick clean” used to be…

That was me (or us) flying through your house like a tornado with a purpose — about 1 to 1.5 hours of full-speed cleaning. We’d:
✔️ Straighten the living area
✔️ Fluff pillows & fold blankets
✔️ Hit surfaces with a quick dust
✔️ Wipe countertops & load dishes
✔️ Freshen up bathrooms
✔️ Make beds
✔️ Vacuum, sweep, and mop

💨 In and out. Done.

Back in the day, I could knock out 6–7 homes a day running routes by area — and it worked great for busy folks or tighter budgets.

But here’s where things got tricky…

Some homes needed more than a “quick pass.” And over time, a few folks started thinking:

👉 “Well… the cleaning lady is coming, I’ll just wait on her.”

Listen… I love you, but I am not a magician 😂

A quick clean is meant to maintain a home — not rescue one that needs a full-on deep clean every week.

Because the truth is:
🧼 Your home is only as clean as it’s kept in between visits.

Even with help, there’s still a little “Saturday morning reset” that has to happen on your end — unless you’re booking deeper, longer cleanings regularly.

And for me personally…
I just couldn’t walk into a home that needed hours of attention and leave it still needing hours of attention. That never sat right with me.

So instead of rushing through homes and feeling like I wasn’t giving my best…

👉 I chose to focus on thorough, quality cleanings where I can actually make a difference.
