If your whirlpool or jetted tub hasn’t been cleaned lately, you might be soaking in more than warm water. Those jets can hide soap scum, body oils, dead skin cells, mold, mildew, and bacteria that build up inside the plumbing lines over time.

Jet Tub Maintenance Facts:

✅ After Every Use

* Rinse the tub.
* Wipe away soap residue and standing water.
* Leave the lid or bathroom door open to help moisture evaporate.

✅ Monthly (for occasional use)

* Run a cleaning cycle through the jets.

✅ Every 1–2 Weeks (for frequent use)

* Deep clean the jet system.

✅ Every 3–6 Months

* Inspect jets for buildup and mineral deposits.

Signs Your Jet Tub Needs Cleaning

🔹 Black flakes coming from the jets

Simple Jet Tub Cleaning Method

1. Fill tub with hot water 2–3 inches above the jets.
2. Add:
* 1/2 cup dish soap OR a jet tub cleaner.
* 1–2 cups white vinegar.
3. Run jets for 15–20 minutes.
4. Drain tub.
5. Refill with clean water.
6. Run jets another 10 minutes to rinse.
7. Drain and wipe dry.

Many homeowners clean the visible tub surface regularly but never clean the pipes behind the jets. We’ve seen tubs that looked spotless on the outside release years of buildup once the jets were turned on!

Let’s talk about the “30 Minute Reset.”

We’re moving from spring into summer. The sun stays up later, the evenings feel better, and honestly… nobody wants to spend every Saturday cleaning the whole entire house when they could be sitting on the porch listening to the crickets and cicadas with a cold drink in hand.

So how do you get the most out of your clean?How do you get the most out of your downtime?

You stop waiting for “cleaning day.”

Do a 30–45 minute reset every evening.

Mine starts when my phone reminds me:“Hey girl… bedtime is in 45 minutes.”

That’s my cue to:✔️ Take my medicine✔️ Drink my last glass of water✔️ Rinse the last few dishes✔️ Threaten my husband that NOTHING else better hit that sink tonight 😂✔️ Wipe down the countertops✔️ Throw away random junk mail and trash✔️ Straighten blankets and couch pillows✔️ Pick up dog toys✔️ Put cleaner in the toilets to marinate overnight✔️ Maybe take the trash out if it’s trying to fight for its life

It’s not a deep clean.It’s not perfection.It’s simply resetting your home before bed.

💐 Mother’s Day isn’t just about giving birth.

It’s about the women who stayed. The women who sacrificed. The women who loved when they were exhausted, worried, overwhelmed, and running on empty.

Being a mother is the late nights, the silent prayers, the constant worrying, the cheering from the sidelines, and the way you still carry your babies in your heart no matter how old they get.

A mother is comfort.
A mother is strength.
A mother is the safe place people run to when life gets hard.

Some mothers gave birth.
Some stepped in and raised children they didn’t have to.
Some are grandmothers, bonus moms, foster moms, aunties, caregivers, or the women who simply loved a child like their own.

Motherhood is not measured only physically. It’s measured by love, sacrifice, patience, grace, and the ability to keep showing up even on the hard days.

Thursday Edition 🧽✨

You ever notice how life gets just a little louder this time of year?

Kids are finishing school, vacations are being planned, ballgames are happening, pollen is trying to personally attack us all… and somehow the house still expects to be cleaned on top of it. 😂

Here’s your reminder from the cleaning lady:
A clean house doesn’t always mean a perfect house.

Sometimes “clean enough” is enough.
Sometimes resting is more important than scrubbing baseboards.
Sometimes ordering pizza and lighting a candle counts as self care too.

Buttttt… if your house is starting to make you twitch every time you walk through it, that’s usually your sign. 👀

Laundry reproduces overnight like it’s got government funding.

And before you know it, what could’ve been a simple reset turns into a full-blown “ain’t no way” situation.
