What you use is less important than how you do it. Mustard has been the bain of my existence. I like mustard alot. You can tell that by all the mustard stains on my shirts.
No matter what it always leaves a shadow. I like mustard more than I hate the stains.
This go around I tried the On it not in it theory. No touch, no talk, no eye contact. Just dishwashing liquid cause I was eating over the sink. Sprayed it off cause I was infront of the sink. Never touched it, never rubbed it. And it is gone

No brush, just your fingers. Brush tears up the fibers and that you can see from a mile away. This make-up job is better living thru chemistry.
Remember, a little dab will do ya. Cause you are not me, let the remover
sit for a while then rub it with a finger
till it is gone.

Answer, Unbelievable Pro rub material against each other. Spray, rub, spray rub, rinse......repeat until my butt is out of the fire
Dried with a hair dryer. 5 minutes to spare

Carpet was cleaned 13 yrs ago and it is crunchy. Customer asked does the carpeting need to replaced? The padding?
???????? Not sure. I really do not feel anything. She was bare foot I was not.
But the dirty ish carpet was even colored corner to corner. Classic over soaped.
For 13 yrs? Wow the place got nailed hard.
I understand why, Bone white carpeting that is clean is hard to make look good.
Then the answer popped in my brain.
They bought the house 13 yrs ago.....they had the carpet cleaned. The people that sold the house had the carpet to sell it.
Both times the carpet got hit with a truck mount. The carpet was swimming in soap.
My job is now dig out the soap and work the nap back up. Bummer but, that is why they call it work.

For petroleum based grease, oils and metal filings. Forgot to mention......Dawn dishwashing soap, if you can get an oil spill off of a duck you can get it out of carpeting.
Remember a little dab will do ya. What goes in must come out.

Quick little video about one way to pull some dents out of carpeting. Carpet wet til it softens up the jute backing. Beat it up, suck it up and let it dry. Do not walk on it till it is bone dry.

I keep getting asked if I am still doing carpet cleaning. I posted all my various injuries for the entertainment of friends and family. Not a business statement. Who would believe it but , I still have fun doing this. To do what can not be done, to do something that makes a difference, to change the feel of what you walk on, to change the smell to good and to make it look new again. Actually I could care less about any of this. For me, it is a hard job, I swing for the fence everytime and giving 100%
every job no matter if anybody can tell or not.
Plus I have to keep working to feed the big dog.
