Introducing Our New Museum Manager!
We’re excited to officially welcome Gabby Troiano as the new Museum Manager at the Dan Gable Museum. A proud West High alum raised right here in Waterloo, she first joined us in January 2024 when former manager Becca reached out for some extra help. At the time, she was running her own organizing and decluttering business and came on board part-time at the front desk, expecting a light role.
But quiet days turned into productive ones, and her initiative quickly made her an essential part of the team. Within a few months, she began taking on managerial responsibilities, and by spring 2025, she was training for the full-time role. She officially stepped in as Museum Manager on July 19 during our George Tragos/Lou Thesz Hall of Fame weekend.
She brings incredible energy, a sharp eye for detail, and a deep love for this community. We’re so lucky to have her leading the way forward.
