How in the WORLD does a carpet cleaner figure out he can thaw copper pipes underground?

I won’t bore you with the details. But if you really want to know, reach out and I’ll tell ya.

Regardless, a contractor heard that I can thaw frozen water lines underground with my carpet cleaning equipment, so he called me out to see if we could save a business from needing to tear up the entire street to replace the frozen section.

In the end, it took me going 50 feet underground before I got to the end of the blockage.

Water service is now restored to the business. Mission accomplished!

And if you can’t tell by my attire, it definitely wasn’t something I planned to do today. 😂😂

Spilled (concentrated!) window cleaner can be a nightmare for homeowners and used to be a sure cause for carpet replacement. Because, let’s face it- sometimes stains can become permanent, no matter what you do.

However- I’m constantly on the search for new technology and knowledge of how to best deal with problem areas in the hopes of saving that extra cost for the homeowner. Here’s the progression of this spot from my first visit, to what it looked like after a thorough flushing, and then to final result.
