The next job to discuss is the installation of this new NPDES system. Due to a failing leach field and tank, we had to go in and install this new system.

For those who are unfamiliar, NPDES stands for National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System. These are used when there are certain limitations such as not enough room for a leach field, among others.

Over the next few days I am going to highlight a few jobs we completed last year.

The first one was probably my favorite of all. This job began almost two years ago with the septic install, then last summer we went in and dug the basement and footers.

Once the foundation was poured, we went back and did some backfill work, and completed the sewer line tie in into the septic tank.

With a new year always comes new goals and aspirations, and Shriver Septic & Excavation is looking forward to what’s ahead in 2026.

With that being said, we are hoping to build off the momentum from the past few years and keep the train rolling.
