Let’s talk a little about mold and how to kill it 🙂
Majority of the people think that bleach kills mold, I thought the same way a decade ago 😉
Bleach does brightens the mold, however does not kill it, the water left behind will bread the next mold.
Most effective methods to really kill mold is peroxide or vinegar. I personally prefer vinegar for mold because I used this method for years and works wonderful. The magic happens by dwell time! For mold eradication the surface has to be wet for at least 60 minutes!
How do you make the surface to stay wet for so long? Paper towels! I fold them and soak them well, pour more vinegar and let it sit! Might require 2 sessions if is really bad, sometimes the mold will discolor the silicone and that will need to be replaced.
