After eight years of serving southwestern Pennsylvania, the northern panhandle of West Virginia and some of Ohio. I have decided to take my life in a different direction and in so doing I will be liquidating the Chimney business effective immediately . I appreciate everyone who did me the honor of having me serve them and in their home.

As fall gets nearer the schedule will fill up quick. Make sure you’re prepared for the first cold night. Hey your chimney, fireplace/insert and flies inspected. While you’re at it don’t forget about the flues that vent your hot water tank or furnace. These are often overlooked and are used more than the fireplace.

If you are planning on purchasing a home that has a chimney, be sure to request a chimney inspection. Many homes still use the chimney to vent hot water tanks and furnaces. If not properly vented in to an old flue, the appliances could experience poor performance or worse; leaking of carbon monoxide in to the home.
Deteriorated flue tiles, joints or unlined chimneys are not only a violation of building codes they are potentially dangerous.
