Hi everyone!! Bill with Archer Pest Control (formally B&M Pest Control) here!!
Just wanted to say hi to everyone and and a big thank you to a good spring start! It has been crazy this year with all the rain, scheduling and rescheduling appointments to work around it all. Hopefully, the weather will start to calm down and we will have a beautiful summer.
Some fun news: We added another truck to the fleet and it’s awesome!! It is really nice to have a utility truck again to keep all the equipment in good order. I sure have missed that.
The termite swarm part of the year is over and now it’s time for ants, spiders, wasps, and other creepy crawlers to be on the move.
The guys are hard at work to keep up with everything we have been throwing at them. They truly are having a ton of fun seeing everybody, helping, and hearing all the stories! They are great employees and keep learning every day. So this is a big shout out to them too!

The new company name change has been a great update. Choosing to keep everything else, like phone numbers and addresses the same has allowed this transition to be pretty seamless. Even though the hardest part is answering the phone for years as B&M and now remembering to say Archer. 😆

I’ve already heard some crazy stories from people curious about the name change, but I’m here to tell you, it was simply time to make it fresh again. Just a great time to make updates to a 53 year old company. New start and new changes. FEELS GREAT!!

Well, it’s time to drop the big secret!! I’ll drop more post and information as I go.
B&M has been in operation from April 1, 1972 - 2024. 52 years!!
It has been some time coming to make some changes for the better for our business and corporations.

We are still the same people, trucks and service. Most of all, still the same phone numbers and everything, it’s just a name change for corporation purposes.

Any and all termite contacts and and service agreements will transfer over and still will be taken care of.

No phone number changes are made so if ya have my number saved, don’t worry about changing it. It won’t change.

Sure hope to see y’all soon.

Hey everyone!!
So every year there are always changes that are made. Most of the time it’s little details from chemicals that are used, to procedures, and even people. Again, hardly any changes that no one even noticed. But there is something that is changing that will definitely be noticed. This evening, I will unveil a big surprise and the details. So gotta leave ya hanging on a little cliffhanger for now.

Termites.
This is a job I just recently done and a good example for some termite knowledge.
Termites are known to eat wood, that’s what they do, but what is a a product of wood??? Paper, cardboard, particle board. These termites came through the floor, and the wood cabinets and ate all the cardboard boxes. If you zoom in close, you can see thousands of termites running all through that.
Cardboard and paper is already processed wood and in like candy to them, the hard part is already done so it’s easy for them to eat and move on.
So there’s a little termite knowledge for the day!!

Hello again everyone!!! It’s about that time to welcome everyone to the new 2024 season!!!
I know I didn’t get to post a lot from last year and I definitely need to be better about that.
I’ve got a ton of new things going on this year and a bunch of new information to share with everyone, I’ll keep posting as I go along.

Can’t wait to see everyone this year!!
