American Septic is the OLDEST family-owned and operated SEPTIC business that has been serving the Hudson Valley region of New York State for over 55 years. John Sloboda, and his brother Ed, started this business with a little bit of money and a lot of dreams. They worked hard to establish themselves as the superior and most honest septic pumping company in their area. Operating about an hour north of NYC and conducting business from Westchester County to Sullivan County, they have always strived to give their best to their customers in the surrounding counties that they serve. While John himself is still at the helm of his diversified business, he has branched into TRULY GREEN SEPTIC SERVICES, a non-mechanical aerobic and anaerobic functioning and fermenting process developed by micro-biologists who teamed up with the Sloboda Brothers, and has been doing the field testing since 2003. This process, when the recipe is right, will produce a clear odorless discharge from the septic tank feeding the drain field and hence producing a better operating septic system for the homeowner, renter, business owner and the environment. Since 2016 this family business also taken on a new look. John’s daughter, Jennifer, has become the ONLY FEMALE SEPTIC TRUCK DRIVER in the Tri-State area of NY, NJ and PA, possibly even CT. Jennifer is a highly skilled CDL driver with many years of not only driving experience, but as John’s daughter she has literally grown up around the business and was driving a backhoe at age 12. To keep it multi-generational, Jennifer’s two sons, John-Paul age 25 and Connor age 22, are also learning the ropes as they say and joining in with Jennifer and their grandfather John for both septic tank pumping and repairing/replacing septic systems. Being in any business for over 55 years brings an incredible amount of perseverance and wisdom, while being in the same business for over 5 decades certainly contributes to John’s incredible wealth of knowledge in an industry where he has remained the premier contractor. 3 Generations – One Company – The ONLY FEMALE SEPTIC PUMP DRIVER – bringing each and every customer professionalism, courtesy and decades of skill and knowledge!
