School ketchup stain? Don’t rub it in.

Here’s the move:

Gently scrape off any excess ketchup.

Rinse the stain from the back side with cold water to help push it out of the fabric.

Work a small amount of liquid laundry detergent into the stain and let it sit for a few minutes.

Rinse, then wash according to the garment’s care label.

Before putting it in the dryer, check the stain. Heat can make a lingering stain harder to remove.

Save this one for the next ketchup emergency.
