I was called there for mice in the garage.
I asked if there were mice in the house, and the answer was no. I asked to take a peek anyway. Dead mice were everywhere, and this little guy too.

It’s hard to tell here, but while I was walking around this house I saw a pile of debris (acorns, chewed seeds) in just this location. So I got my handy high tech mirror out and looked up under the siding. It’s a bad picture, but there was a very large hole just above the pile of debris. This is how the mice were getting into this house.
