Over the years I have talked a lot about how thin modern paint is. In the past paint was about 150 microns thick. Which is the thickness of a post it note. Now I am finding vehicles with as little at 40 microns of paint and primer! If you are thinking about keeping your new vehicle longer than 5 years. I strongly recommended that you take good care of it by getting the paint sealed at least twice a year. Failing to do so may end with your clear coat failing. The other option is to have a ceramic coating installed. This will ensure the paint is protected for many years to come. Attached I have two of the finest ceramic coatings on the market.
