I officially start a new job Monday with Sentara, which means my cleaning business is officially closed.

Owning a small business has been such a rewarding experience, but it's also had its challenges. In the two years I've been in business I just wasn't able to stay as busy as I'd hoped.

I had some of the best clients anyone could hope for who have become like family to me. I am so appreciative of them going through this part of my life with me, & for their understanding that it's time for me to move on.

Thank you to anyone who shared my cleaning posts, used me as a recommendation, & encouraged me to try to do it on my own.

It was worth it ❤️

I'm officially on Maternity Leave 👶

I've decided, well mostly my body has decided for me, that I'm going to take the next several weeks to rest & prepare for baby Rowan's arrival.

To my current clients & anyone interested in cleaning, feel free to text/message me. I will respond, just understand I will only be able to return to work when I have an official clearance to return to work from my medical provider.

Not only do I grow to care for my clients, but their pets also hold a special place in my heart.

Everyone meet Dixie 🐾 She's a cat-dog who enjoys sitting & laying on the back of the couch. She bats her eyelashes when you go to pet her, & loves walking around with a toy stuffy in her mouth. She also shares a name & birth month with my sister in Heaven ❤️

My work vacuum kicked the bucket 😒 Luckily I have amazingly understanding clients, one of whom was nice enough to let me use this bad boy today.

This is a Kirby from the 90s y'all. It has a neutral or drive switch that helps it glide across the floor like no one's business, & the vacuum lines it leaves are 👌

I honestly enjoyed using it. After all these years it still works like a champ.

They don't make'em like they used to ❤️
