I wanted to take a moment to be transparent, because honesty and integrity matter especially in small, family run businesses like mine.
Recently, we had an understandably upset client. Some areas were missed, and while that’s never our standard, the truth is — we’re human. Mistakes happen. What matters most is how we handle them, and anyone who’s worked with Peachy Clean knows that we always do our best to make things right.
For the past five years, Peachy Clean has proudly served homes and businesses throughout the Roanoke Valley. Many of our very first clients are still with us today, which says a lot about the pride, consistency, and care that my team and I put into every job we take on.
To clarify our policy:
We do not issue refunds before being given the opportunity to correct the issue. Our first step is always to return and make it right — and in nearly every case, that resolves the concern entirely. If, after that, someone is still unsatisfied, we’re happy to revisit the situation further. This is a standard practice across most industries — much like how a restaurant remakes a meal instead of immediately issuing a refund.
I am a mother and wife before I am a business owner, I will never compromise the time meant for my children or my family to rush back out to a property late in the evening. What I will do — always — is make sure I’m there first thing the next morning to personally make things right. If that level of balance doesn’t fit what someone expects, that’s okay — but it simply means we’re not the right fit for one another.
To other business owners and clients alike: please remember that grace and professionalism go both ways. We’re all human, and how we handle challenges says far more than the challenges themselves. If someone chooses not to extend that grace, that’s a them problem — not a we problem — and I stand firmly on that.
Lastly, I’ve temporarily turned off reviews on our page — not because of one negative comment, but because of the influx of people who have never worked with us leaving false statements. Peachy Clean will always welcome honest feedback from real clients — but I won’t allow online negativity from outsiders to undermine the integrity of my team or the relationships we’ve built.
If anyone has questions or wants clarification about this situation, please don’t hesitate to reach out to me personally. I will always have an open, respectful conversation with anyone who approaches me the same way.
Thank you, truly — to all of our loyal clients who continue to support Peachy Clean and the people behind it. We’re grateful for your trust, your understanding, and the opportunity to do what we love every day.
