I pretty sure this is going down as my Best detecting spring ever
I learned a new rule today ..... Go through your Junk before you throw it out. While detecting in my new favorite field with fellow ECA digger Bill , I ran into an area saturated with Small pieces of foil and tin ... Sticking them in my trash pouch I finished for the day .... As I started to throw them away at my office , One seemed to have writing on it then split in half and fell on the floor .
I picked them up and put them on the scope ...... They were 2 17th Century Swedish skillings ..... My hands are still shaking as I dated them between 1640 and 1670 ..... My best coin finds to date ...and I found them in the Corn Field / Golf course behind my house ..... Right here in South Jersey
